October 17, 2011 Orlando, FL - Select Registry, the largest marketing consortium of independent Inns,Bed and Breakfasts and Boutique Hotels wants to attract SMALL RETREAT meetings, for 24 of their 350+members.

Using the collective financial, data base, creative and cross country resources of these 24 properties, SelectRegistry is now ready to venture into the group meetings market, marking a bold, ambitious move into thismarket representing incredible potential.

The economy has influenced this venture. "In light of the AIG effect of lavish spending for meetings and the desire for new venues to ensure thecamaraderie, team-building and focus of off-site meetings, our intimate settings are the perfect/timelyalternative,” proclaims Will Carlson, Executive Director of Select Registry.

Earlier this year, Select Registry selected Jim Miller and Associates to direct a nationwide sales andmarketing effort to generate well qualified leads for groups looking to meet mid-week and do so in venues thatoffer quality, privacy and affordability.

For over 20 years, Miller has lead a Hospitality Consulting Group that now offers a very selective, qualifiedgroup of sales executives, from Coast to Coast, focusing solely on just 24 very qualified Select Registrymembers, who subscribe to exact criteria standards demanded by today’s meeting planners.

"Many Select Registry inns have been a well-kept secret in attracting corporate business Sunday throughThursday,” said Will Carlson. "Jim and his team have recognized this and have put together a package thatworks well for those members who are well suited for this clientele.”

Select Registry = SMALL RETREATs and these properties offer from 7 to 85 guest rooms, standard and livingroom style meeting rooms, complimentary Wi-Fi and the offer of complete Buy-Outs whereby groups can beassured of owning the Inn throughout the length of their meeting.

"This venture is a huge break-through for us and has benefits for everyone involved,” suggests DudleyPatteson, owner of the Hope and Glory Inn, VA and the motivated chairman of the SR=Small Retreatscommittee. "We have great properties, Jim and his team have already become great partners with us and weknow groups love meeting at our Inns. It is a perfect time for us to offer meeting planners and executives whoplan meetings, a number of stellar destinations, which until now have not been aggressive in promoting theirinterest and capability of hosting SMALL RETREATS.

The Sales Executives with Jim Miller and Associates are all career sales professionals in the HotelRepresentation niche. "I am so proud to recruit this level of talent for this first of its kind of venture. Everyone on my team of 10 has worked with / for a larger national Meeting Rep firm, or has cultivated their ownnetwork of meeting planners,” explains Miller. "When I proposed this concept of taking SMALL RETREATs, forcorporations, associations, or any affiliated group, to these quality Inns and Boutique Hotels, they instantly knewwe had a winning proposal.”

The Select Registry = SMALL RETREATs venture was officially launched on September 26 with an appearanceat the Small Market Meetings Conference in Little Rock, with 24 outlier Inns/Boutiques representing the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, Northern FL / Carolinas, Texas/Southwest, Chicago/Midwest and the entire West Coast.
